I personally feel that the blush sometimes gets mothballed as a non consequential, minor component of our makeup routine, compared to the more predominant lipsticks and eyeshadows. But blush has been around for centuries. Ancient civilizations use dyes mixed with fat, mulberries, beet juice, crushed strawberries, flower petal extracts to get that healthy flush of color. Cosmetics also had dangerous levels of cancer causing lead in them. Over the years things have changed and now we have the power of science behind us and we are changing for the better. A fun fact for you. Hewlett-Packard’s (also known as HP) name was decided in a coin toss in 1939. The name was always going to be a hyphenation of the two founders' last names, so in order to decide between Hewlett-Packard and Packard-Hewlett, they flipped a coin. I wish I could decide between colors by flipping a coin. Red or Nude… umm flip a coin!

Do you like it, love it, or think it’s tacky? I fall somewhere in between. Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. I like simple designs, or maybe a nail sticker on an accent nail. That does not take much effort but gives your look a unique creative twist.

I love nail polish. Though the title says Fall nail colors, I wear any nail color that calls out to me. What I mean is I do not keep certain colors for specific seasons.
