Fall Nail Colors

Fall Nail Colors

I love nail polish. Though the title says Fall nail colors, I wear any nail color that calls out to me. What I mean is I do not keep certain colors for specific seasons. I wear red during the Holiday season and also enjoy wearing it whenever I feel like irrespective of it being the Holidays or not. That being said, I definitely can relate to wearing some bright or pastel colors during summer and darker shades during fall & winter.

For today's post I have 5 nail colors that I am into these days. A few from Essie, my tried and tested, go to nail polish brand and 2 from CND. So let's begin.

Essie Berry Naughty

I love how berry naughty looks on my hands. It is a deep berry crème nail polish which reaches full opacity in two to three coats. Love this color around fall and winter.

Essie Armed And Ready

I got this nail polish last year and then forgot all about it. I usually gravitate toward nudes and then reds. So two totally opposite ends of the spectrum. I also love blues and mints. But all my greens have some blue mixed in. So this army , olive green is nothing like I have in my collection.

Armed And Ready is a dark olive green with gold micro shimmer in it. Two coats make it opaque and bring out the subtle shimmer in it. A really beautiful shade when you don't want to go the berry or red shade route.

CND Vinylux Denim Patch

This is my first time trying CND nail polishes. The two colors I tried performed well. Denim Patch is as the name suggests a dusty bluish grey crème shade. It is perfect when you don't want to wear brights or bold navy blue shades, but still want some color. It is formulated without Phthalates, Propyl-paraben & Butyl-paraben, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) and is fragrance free and chlorine free.

Swatches
Essie Mink Muffs

Mink Muffs has been a staple for years. I would describe it as a dark chocolate brown taupe. It is a good neutral color for colder months and looks awesome on my feet in summer too. It has awesome coverage, is non streaky and two coats are enough. I can see many people being able to rock this gem!

CND Vinylux Clay Canyon

Clay Canyon is a brownish orange shade with an excellent formula. The polish is a creme and I used two coats. It is a fast drying polish formulated without Phthalates, Propyl-paraben & Butyl-paraben, Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) fragrance free and chlorine free.

I prefer to have short or medium length nails, just for convenience. Main reason being nothing gets stuck under them eww…gross! I always apply a top coat. In my opinion, it makes my polish look better and last longer. I get about one week of wear time without chipping.
