I love nail polish. However I am not very good at application. But still that does not stop me. Today I have a few OPI Nail Lacquer Swatches for you. Which one is your favorite? I would love to know. Leave me a comment.
OPI Chiffon-d Of You Nail Lacquer
This is a very pretty pearl shade. I would describe this shade as a frosty champagne shade. Basically, I am not a fan of frost finishes because the brush stokes are always sort of visible. But this shade is beautiful. Perfect for weddings. If you like subtle shades, this frosty champagne shade might be for you. I got about 5 days with OPI Chiffon-d Of You, before noticing tip wear.
OPI It’s A Girl Nail Lacquer
I love the name of this shade and also the color. It’s a pink that looks fabulous on medium skin tones. This lovely sheer pink shade needs 2-3 coats to appear opaque. Such a girly and fun color. It is my favorite light pink right now. Again I get about 5 days before noticing any tip wear damage. Love this baby pink color from OPI.
OPI This Color’s Making Waves Nail Lacquer
This shade is described as a shimmery, lagoon blue nail polish. I think it looks fabulous on the nails. My nails are short and I think it does not do this beautiful shade any justice. It would look stunning on longer nails. I wish I could capture this in all its glory. This Color’s Making Waves is a metallic shade with a turquoise/green/blue shift. I also notice very fine pink and gold shimmer. Such a complex shade, that looks so gorgeous on the nails. The OPI formula is amazing and I get 4 days before any tip wear or chipping happens.
OPI Yoga-ta Get This Blue Nail Lacquer
Yoga-ta Get This Blue is a dark blue with a metallic finish. It is such a dark and vampy shade. I need two coats to make it opaque. What I love about this shade is that it always looks blue. It’s not that dark that it starts looking black. I love this metallic dark blue from OPI. It is similar to OPI Russian Navy, but Russian Navy has blue, red and purple shimmer. Another winner from OPI.
I mostly wear a top coat over all my polishes. I am wearing the Essie Gel Setter polish in these pictures.
