In Switzerland, it is illegal to own just one guinea pig. They are naturally very social animals so the rule is to have them in pairs. That's a fantastic rule and makes me thankful that we have two guinea pigs. During the pandemic our pets helped calm us , they are such good listeners and such adorable lap animals. The kids love to read to them and just spend time with them. They love this certain brand of pet food and will not eat pellets from another brand. So we buy them the pellets they love. Just like us humans in some aspects, I think. What beauty, skincare products are your re-buys?
I also have certain makeup, skincare, hair care products I cannot do without. As soon as I am about to finish that tried and tested, super performing product, I rebuy it. Some I have used for years, and hope with fingers crossed that the company does not discontinue it.
JOSIE MARAN 100 percent Pure Argan Oil
This is liquid gold. For someone with dry skin, this is god sent. It is organic and has the Sephora Clean seal of approval. I use it on my daughter's dry elbows and knees and her skin heals beautifully. She gets seasonal eczema on the opposite side of the elbows and behind her knees. I also use it on my face. There is a lighter version of this oil too. I have used both and use the lighter one in summer and the original formula in winters. I always have this cause it helps my daughter and me to control our eczema situation. While using this our skin heals wonderfully without steroids. That’s a win for me.
CLINIQUE Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel
Sephora says “This moisturizer is a dermatologist-developed, oil-free face moisturizer that balances and refreshes oilier skin types. This refreshing gel moisturizer delivers up to eight hours of oil-free hydration, slips on easily, and absorbs quickly. It helps support skin's moisture barrier, so more moisture stays in and skin looks healthier.” This gel is formulated for people with combination or oily skin type.
More about my skin, I have very sensitive, acne prone skin. I have no issues with breakouts after using this moisturizer. This sinks in and can be applied under makeup. I enjoy using this skincare staple in the summertime.
PHILOSOPHY Purity Made Simple Cleanser
This is an amazing face wash and is an essential in my skincare routine. Does it’s job without drying out my face. It is my go to cleanser. I like the texture and the smell. It gently removes all traces of makeup. I usually buy a huge bottle during the Nordstrom anniversary sale. It will last you forever.

JACK BLACK Intense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25
A nice clear lip balm for the price point. It is super moisturizing without being sticky. What I love about these, is that they have spf. I purchase multiple of these and have one in my winter coat, one in the purse, one beside the bed.
One thing to note is I have tried the Lemon one, the original mint one and the blackberry one. The lemon and the blackberry balm suit me just fine, but for some reason I cannot wear the original (mint) balm. In a few hours after wearing the mint one my lips get itchy and are then covered with bumps, blisters. Then my lips start peeling as they heal. So I only use the lemon balm and the blueberry balm.
MOROCCANOIL Moroccanoil Treatment
It’s an oil serum to tame your frizzy and flyaway hair. It is non greasy and fast absorbing and smells divine. Moroccan oil treatment also adds a little shine to my hair, and my hair does not look dry. I use it on wet and dry hair. Remember, too much product will weigh down your hair. Just use a little bit of product.
