Facial mask is one of the easiest ways to get healthy and soft skin in a few minutes. A facial mask product is designed to be used for a short period of time, usually. It takes a few seconds to apply, wait for a few minutes and then wash it off. It is a simple process with enormous benefits. If you are not already using a facial mask, I strongly recommend that you add one to your regular skin care routine. REN Clean Skincare Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask was one of the masks in skincare routine.

Sephora says that “REN Clean Skincare Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask is a cult-favorite exfoliating mask that contains all-natural, fruit-derived acids to renew and refine skin‘s appearance. Can be used by normal, dry, combination, and oily skin types. This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, comes in recyclable packaging.

What Else You Need to Know:

This mask contains a cocktail of AHAs that gently exfoliate by wiping away dead skin cells while supporting natural collagen production. It resurfaces to improve the look of tone, texture, firmness, and radiance while minimizing the appearance of pores, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, and old acne scars.

Packaging

The product comes in a plastic bottle, which has a little baggie inside containing the product. I did not like the packaging much. I feel like I can't get all the product out of the bag inside the bottle.

Texture and Smell

The texture of this mask is thick and gelatinous. It is very goopy. The mask has a zesty, citrusy aroma.

My Experience

I was very excited to try out REN Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask mask because it has so many steller reviews online. Unfortunately this did not work for me. I tried it for a month before writing this review, and have made changes to my review as I continue using it to finish it. Unfortunately, I have not noticed any difference in my skin at all. I also tried keeping it on for longer in hopes that it would have a positive effect(brightening, softening, minimizing pores, anything) but even that did not help. If you have sensitive skin, I would ask you to proceed with caution and follow directions on the packaging. 

It takes a few seconds to apply, you wait for a few minutes, 10 min or so, then wash it off. I experience no tingling or irritation. I have used masks that did not tingle, but still had some sort of glowing, brightening effect immediately after taking the mask off or my skin showed improvement the next day. But nothing with this. 

On the plus side, this does not have any micro beads. This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, comes in recyclable packaging. It might be a good beginner mask.

I was not wowed by REN Clean Skincare Glycol Lactic Radiance Renewal Mask. My review wouldn't be so harsh if the price of the product was not in the $50+ range.

My skin is used to acids and retinol so I found this mask to be fairly gentle on my face. I could do with something stronger. Try this mask if you are new to masks and want a gentle beginner acid mask.
