My Favorite Body Washes

Some Of My Favorite Body Washes Reviewed

I just read something quite interesting a few days back, that actually made me go WOW! Turns out our kids basically ask us about 300 questions daily! A study found that the number of questions asked by children varied by age and gender. In other words, I mean we are daily in the hot seat, constantly being tested.

Things that calm me after such chaotic days is usually a warm shower. I have some of my favorite body washes lined up for review today.

L’occitane Cleansing And Softening Shower Oil With Almond Oil

The L’occitane Shower oil goes on as oil and transforms into milk when it comes in contact with water. I am just in love with the almond-like  smell and how much my skin feels hydrated after using this oil. It is also good to shave with. It does not lather much, which could be an issue for some people. I use it religiously during winters and have gone through a couple of  full size body wash/oil bottles. I have also talked about this body wash here.

Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily Body Wash

This Molton Brown shower is a beautiful floral that's not too overpowering, but lingers on the body. It lathers well and washes off without leaving any residue. My first bottle was from Belfast, and I loved the fragrance. It's on the expensive side, but a nice treat. I use this with the Molton Brown Heavenly Gingerlily body lotion, and I get a little whiff of this pleasant scent for a couple of hours on me.

Molton Brown Eucalyptus Body Wash

This is the best Eucalyptus body wash ever! It clears congestion and cold related symptoms. I also use it when I am a bit under the weather with an achy body, as it's so very soothing.  A very stress relieving product which leaves my bathroom smelling amazing. I love stress relief body washes and that's why this makes it to my favorite body washes list. If you like Eucalyptus this body wash is for you. Molton Brown has so many other body washes to choose from. Another one I like is Recharge Black Pepper.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel

Amazing Grace is sold as a 3-in-1 shampoo, bath and shower gel. It has a powdery, clean, feminine, comforting smell. I tried using this as a shampoo for long hair, but it did not work for me. I found it too drying, even though my hair smelled divine. Hence, I just use it as a body wash. It lathers up well and makes for a luxurious bath experience. I layer it with other Amazing Grace products for a long lasting effect. Philosophy has other body washes you might like. Sometimes they have body washes and perfume sets, which is a good deal.

Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel

It is Philosophy’s fan-favorite fresh creme with notes of cashmere, sandalwood and musk. I got it as a part of a set that included a body lotion and a perfume. It gives me this warm, cozy feeling, almost like being wrapped up in your favorite sweater. I wear it with other products from the fresh cream warm cashmere line.

The Body Shop British Rose Shower Gel

As the name suggests it is a rose scented body wash. It is not a heavy rose smell if that makes sense, just a soft rose smell. It lathers up rather well. The British Rose body care products from Body Shop are enriched with  the essence of hand-picked British roses. Wish this body wash came in a jumbo size.
