Time flies! I mean how are we in April, end of April already? The weather has been beautiful. We are spending more time outdoors and loving it. Doing basic things like walks, picnics etc. Nothing grand. In this post I want to share a few of my April favorite products.
I found myself reaching for these products a lot during the last few weeks. Apart from these products I also used my sunscreen regularly. A few makeup products like mascara, eyeliner change every time I do my makeup. Depending on what I want to wear that day. But I stuck to these basic products mostly.
Makeup Favorites
Eyes
Armani Eye Tints and MAC Eyeshadows
Most of the time, for my eyeshadow I picked Armani Eye Tint in shades 11 Rose Ashes and 23 Camel Smoke. Armani has changed the packaging and reformulated the eye tints now. I have these in the older packaging and they are perfect for a simple look, that I go for on most days. Shade 11 Rose Ashes is a light gold with a frost finish that flashes pink sometimes. Shade 23 Camel Smoke is a dark medium/dark brown matte. In the swatch it really appears dark, but on my lids its a nice nude wash of color.
I went with MAC eyeshadow in Espresso to darken my outer V and MAC Brulee as an under the brow highlight.
Face
IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+
For my face I used this it cosmetics CC cream. I have medium skin tone and the shade Medium Tan in IT Cosmetics matches perfectly. I love that this has SPF and still does not make my combination skin overly oily.
RMS Beauty Mini Lip2Cheek Glow Quad
This is my first RMS Beauty product. I am loving it so far. My favorite is the champagne rose luminizer and the beloved lip2cheek for a quick pop of color. I wear the other lip2cheek colors in this palette for a more low key look.
Chantecaille Brilliant Lip Gloss
For my lips, I reached for Chantecaille Brillant Lip Gloss in Modern when I wanted somethin more hydrating. It does not add much color to my lips but is very moisturizing and non-sticky. Other times I reached for the lip2cheek colors, mostly beloved. By now you can tell I love that shade.
Skincare Favorites
Heritage Store Rose Petals Rosewater Facial Mist
I have constantly been reaching for this facial mist. It smells like a bouquet of roses and has just 2 ingredients, namely purified water and rose flower oil. This is also Vegan and Cruelty-Free. A big plus in my book. I feel so refreshed after using this facial mist.
Hand and Nail Favorites
L'Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
I use hand creams religiously. Constant washing is so harsh on my hands. This L'Occitane hand cream helps keep my hands soft and hydrated. I have reviewed a few of my favorite hand creams here. I feel this is one item I would include in every month's favorite list, not just my April favorite products list.
Olive & June nail polish
I love these 7 free polishes. Loving the shade Bold & Unshaken these days. As with most polishes I get about a weeks wear, if I am careful.
