Monochromatic Glowy Look with Berry Tones

Monochromatic Glowy Look Using Berry Tones

Good Morning busy beauties. What have you been up to. Are you enjoying this beautiful summer weather? Or do you want it to cool down already. After seeing monochromatic makeup looks all over social media, I was inspired to create one of my own. Hope you enjoy my monochromatic glowy look using berry tones.

Since I got the NARS Summer Solstice Palette a few months back, I have been constantly wearing it. Read my review here. So I got the eye look taken care of, because this palette has some red, copper and brown tones.

Base Makeup

I used Glow Recipe Watermelon Dew Drops as a primer for this look. Without a doubt, I like how this looks on my skin and for the subtle glow it gives.

For my foundation I picked the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.

I used my favorite Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter to give me the perfect glow. I am all about glowy looks these days. One tip I always use is not to use powder when you want a glowy or dewy look. So I skipped face powder in this look.

Eye Makeup

I am in love with the NARS Summer Solstice Palette ever since I got it. Read my review here. I combined the beautiful metallic ruby(India Wells) and the metallic copper brown(Oro Grande) shades for this look. I also used a bit of the matte terracotta brown( Dune) shade in my crease. Because of the reddish berry tones of this palette, I was scared to use it initially. But so glad I gave it a try.

For my eyeliner I choose Urban Decay's Rockstar which is a stunning dark purple shade.

MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara is one mascara that adds volume to my lashes and is not clumpy. What I love most about it is, that it does not budge till you take it off.

To fill in my brows I used my go to Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Dark Brown.

Lips

I used the new Hourglass Velvet Story Lip Cream in the shade Crush for this monochromatic glowy look. On me this is a pink berry shade with slight berry undertones. Also, I used a bit of this as a blush. I have been doing this a lot lately. Using my lipsticks as blushes, is quick and I am happy with the result.
