One of the many joys of shopping at Target is browsing through the makeup and skincare aisles. On one such trip I picked up a few shades from the E.L.F. Metallic and Glitter liquid eyeshadow line. I mostly stick to neutrals, but the jewel tones and neutral shades, everything was calling to me. So I picked up a few shades.
Packaging Of The E.L.F. Metallic And Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow
These liquid eyeshadows come packaged in a transparent plastic tube with a white wand applicator. Pretty basic liquid eyeshadow packaging. The plastic tube is very compact, petite sized compared to the liquid eyeshadows from some other brands.

Formula Of The E.L.F. Metallic And Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow
This is a Vegan and Cruelty-free product. I picked 3 shades from the Metallic line and 1 shade from the Glitter line. The Metallic liquid eyeshadow has high-impact, metallic finish and is infused with multi-dimensional metallic pearls. Both the metallic and the glitter shades have a long-wearing, gel-based formula.

Shades From The E.L.F. Metallic And Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow Line
Shades I picked up are Moon (metallic champagne), Aurora (metallic emerald), Super Nova (metallic jewel toned purple) and Ocean Eyes ( Royal Blue glitter).
My Experience
I picked up Moon, Aurora and Super Nova from the liquid metallic eyeshadow line and Ocean Eyes from the liquid glitter eyeshadow line. All four shades are pigment and beautiful. The colors are buildable. You have to remember to let the first layer dry, before you apply another layer. Otherwise you will just be moving the color around. Remember, let it dry before you add more.
As the name suggests, only the shade Ocean Eyes which is from the glitter line has some glitter. But it is not over the top and I did not experience any fall out. I find these liquid eyeshadows very pigmented, easy to use and long wearing. All the four shades I picked are beautiful, luminous and travel friendly. I say travel friendly because they come in a compact container. As always I wear a primer before I apply these beautiful eyeshadows.
Elf has really upped their makeup game. Loving a few of their recent releases. The bite sized eyeshadows palettes are amazing too. Read my review here.
