The eyeshadows come in a plastic compact with the brand name written on the top of the lid. They also have this cute brand embossing on all the power shades. Overall the packaging is light. However, the lid snaps shut and I don't think it will open in your purse if you travel with it. I wish the primer had a plastic cover of its own, so it would not get eyeshadow dust on it.

My Experience

I find the Dior Backstage Eyeshadow Palette Warm Neutrals is a good everyday palette. It is very office friendly. Nothing earthshattering here, just your basic everyday neutrals you will get a lot of use out of. Also the shades are not super pigmented, but they can be easily built up. So if you are a beginner, this palette is perfect for you. Sometimes I prefer palettes that are not super duper pigmented. That way I have the control of how dark I want my look to be.

My everyday look is extremely basic, some might even call it boring. I also love a no makeup, makeup look these days. This palette works perfectly for all my needs. Additionally, I like that they do have a darker shades that can turn my day look into a sultry evening look. Mostly, I use the darker shades to line my eyes.

This Dior Backstage Eyeshadow Palette lasts on my eyes for my entire work day, which is 8 hours, after which they crease a bit.
