MAC Lipsticks For Medium Skintones

MAC Nude and MLBB Lipsticks For Medium Skintones

You have to talk about MAC when you talk about lipsticks. When I first got into makeup I was amazed at all the different lipsticks, finishes, formulas they had. At that time I would buy one nude lipstick and one red or pink lipstick. I love nude lipsticks, and I did not want to be partial to the other colors…Hah ha. In this post I'm sharing a few Nude and MLBB Mac Lipsticks for Medium Skintones, from my collection.

For reference, I was matched to NC35-40 in MAC in the past. Also one of my other foundation match is the shade 40 Beige in Chanel.

MAC Lipsticks For Medium Skintones
MAC Hug Me, Patisserie, Twig, Mull It Over, Cosmo and Fast Play Lipsticks

Hug Me

Hug Me is a sheer nude brown from MAC's lustre line. It feels more like a balm. Since it is sheer, it has some slip and has to be reapplied. Hug Me is almost like a lip gloss in a lipstick form. I like how the color can be built up and the finish is glossy. This is a no fuss, pinky brown that I can wear with anything.

Patisserie

Patisserie is a light nude pink from MAC'S lustre line. It has some glitter/shimmer particles, which do not bother me. The shimmer is not that noticeable on the lips. I love paring Patisserie with MAC Soar lip pencil.

Twig

MAC Twig is a rosy brown lipstick with a satin finish. It does have some reddish tones thrown in. I feel Twig will suit multiple skintones. This color is very flattering on my medium skin with yellow undertones and I feel that I can wear this color every day.

Mull It Over

Mull It Over is from MAC's Powder Kiss line. Powder Kiss formula is lightweight and has a soft matte texture with a soft focus or blurring effect. MAC describes Mull It Over as a dirty peach. I would describe it as muted coral peach.

Cosmo

Cosmo is from MAC's Amplified line. The Amplified formula has a creamy shine that fades over time. The lipstick is very comfortable on the lips. Cosmo is a pinkish brown with more Peachy Pink tones than brown tones. This is a very easy to wear shade everyday pink shade.

Fast Play

Fast Play is a brownish mauve from MAC's Amplified line. I find this is deeper than Cosmo. It has incredible pay off and is opaque in a single swipe. A little similar to Twig color-wise, but Fast Play has a sheen because of the amplified creamy formula.

MAC has a multitude of colors, with different formulas and finishes. All MAC Lipsticks have a slight vanilla smell. It is not overpowering and is not bothersome to me. What are some of your nude and MLBB shades? Would love to know in the comments section.

Where to buy

MAC Lipsticks retails for $19 and you can purchase them from Nordstrom and Ulta.
