Who doesn't like face palettes that help you get ready in minutes. I love items that help me save time during the morning rush. So I was tempted to buy one of the Gucci Palette De Beaute Quatuor palette. The Nordstrom website says this is “A palette designed for any mood and every look that offers limitless opportunities to explore your creativity.”

The palette has products that can be used on your eyes, lips and face. The beautiful compact also has a small mirror and double-sided applicator brush. I use my regular brushes to apply the products but the applicator can be used if you are on the go. This palette is easy to travel with.

The Nordstrom website says “The palette features four eyeshadows in matte and shimmer finishes designed to be layered, mixed and matched for the perfect look.” The palette has three powder shades and one cream shade.

I got Summerina Brown because I loved the look of the shades. Also, I always get more use out of such shades.

My Experience

I just have to come out and say this. This is a perfect palette for travel. I have been using this palette for the past few days and have received so many compliments from friends and family. The colors are perfect for an everyday, simple, elegant look. The highlighter shade looks so beautiful on the eyes and also on the cheeks. I mean, just look at the glow. Moreover, the darkest brown shade helps me to add depth to my eyes. One important thing to remember is that this dark brown shade can be used only on your eyes. Also the lighter brown shade can be used on your eyes and cheeks. I use this to add warmth to my face. Lastly, the one and only cream shade in this palette is reddish, pink shade. Also it is beautiful as a blush, lipstick and an eyeshadow too.

All the shades from Gucci Palette De Beaute Quatuor Summerina Brown Palette show up on my medium skin tone. These shades lasted on my eyes and cheeks for more than 8 hours. On my lips I had to reapply the color after a few hours. I am not travelling much these days. But if I were, this would be the palette I would take with me on my adventures.

I am tempted to buy the other palettes, but I gravitate towards neutral shades, so I do not think I'll get much use out of the other shades. Also I do wish the pans were bigger and came with more product.
