I absolutely love the packaging of these lipsticks. The lipstick is packaged in a black and a silver bullet, and looks so chic and sleek. It will look beautiful on your vanity. You can also proudly take this beautiful tube out for touch ups. The Slim Sheer Matte lipstick uses an innovative square-bullet to create precise lines.
Formula
Matte lipsticks are usually very drying after a while, but not these. YSL Rouge Pur Couture Slim Sheer Matte Lipsticks have a comfortable texture, it’s not drying. It is a matte lipstick with a subtle sheen. The formula has blurring technology which softens the look of lips. All the shades can be layered, so you can just swipe it once for a light flush of color or layer it up for a pop of color. The square bullet allows application with clean precision and control.
Shades
There are 12 shades in the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Slim Sheer Matte Lipstick range. From reds to nudes to berries and oranges, there is something for everyone.
101 Rouge Libre – Rouge Libre is a vibrant cool red. I wore this shade a lot during the holidays, and it was ideal.
102 Rose Naturel – Rose Natural is a soft beige nude. I think I found my perfect nude. I am really tempted to buy a backup. Should I? What do you think? Reply below in the comments section.
109 Rose Denude – Rose Denude is a vivid true pink. This lipstick looks like a wearable pop of pink on me and brightens my face.
110 Berry Exposed – Berry Exposed is a soft cool berry pink. It is a very flattering berry, great for fall. But again I wear all colors all year round. Just depends on my mood.
112 Raw Rosewood – Raw Rosewood is a soft rosy nude. It is darker than 102 Rose Natural. It is a sheer red mixed with some brown and pink.
Fragrance
All the YSL Rouge Pur Couture Slim Sheer Matte Lipstick have a rose fragrance that disappears after application. The fragrance does not bother me.
