I love light coverage foundations. And during the pandemic totally stopped wearing foundation. I would however wear tinted moisturizers from time to time. YSL Nu Bare Look Tint Skin Tint Foundation is a lightweight skin tint that I have been wearing these days.
The Sephora website says this is “A lightweight skin tint with hyaluronic acid and buildable light-to-medium coverage for a fresh, dewy complexion.”
Packaging Of The YSL Nu Bare Look Tint Skin Foundation
This foundation comes in a 1 oz tube. I love the simple black and white packaging of this tube. The top portion of the tube is transparent allowing you to see the color of the foundation inside. I find this foundation to be very light and travel friendly.
Formula Of The YSL Nu Bare Look Tint Skin Foundation
According to the Sephora website “This flexible, multitasking skin tint has a water-cream texture for up to 24-hour hydration and leaves skin naturally enhanced with a radiant finish. Infused with glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and brightening mallow, this makeup-moisturizer hybrid melts into the complexion for an effortless no-makeup look. The foundation’s tube is made out of 30 percent post-consumer recycled material.”
My Experience
I bought the YSL NU Bare Look Tint Skin Foundation in the color 8 and I think it is a good match to my NC35-40 skin tone. Also, I have also been matched to NC 30 at times. Additionally, I wear 40 Beige in Chanel foundations. In fact I find the coverage of this foundation heavier than Laura Mercier's tinted moisturizer but lighter than NARS tinted moisturizer. It does not feel like makeup at all and gives me a very natural look. Love it for no makeup looks because of how natural and dewy it looks and feels.
It does have a slight fragrance, which dissipates quickly. The smell does not bother me at all. YSL Nu Bare Skin Tint is sheer so it's very forgiving. I ordered it sight unseen from the Sephora website.
