Viseart 01 Neutral Matte Eyeshadow Palette Review

For the longest time, I would buy lipsticks and lip products. Then I started with eyeshadows, singles or duos. My logic for not buying palettes was that I would not use up all the colors. Or that I just like a few colors. I won't be able to carry off the bold colors the palette includes etc. But once I got my first palette, I was hooked. In effect, one palette in my collection I want to share today is the Viseart 01 Neutral Matte Eyeshadow Palette.

Sephora website says it is “A coveted, professional eyeshadow palette that can be used for shading, highlighting, and defining eyes, brows, and the contours of the face. This product is also cruelty-free and gluten-free.”

Packaging

The packaging of this Viseart Palette is very basic, nothing fancy. The eyeshadows are packaged in a plastic container with a clear plastic lid. There is no mirror or mini brushes included. This is not a deal breaker for me, because its all about the formula of these 12 eyeshadows. And somehow I never use the mini brushes included in some other palettes. With this in mind I think it is great palette to have, if you want in invest in matte eyeshadows.

Formula

While I was swatching these eyeshadows, I realized that they do not swatch that well. Hear me out, the eyeshadow formula is dry and that's why they swatch alright. The powders are densely packed and dryer than some other eyeshadows I have tried. The magic happens when you apply them to your eyes.

My Experience

As you might have already guessed, I love Viseart 01 Neutral Matte Eyeshadow Palette. I buy most of my makeup products after extensive research which involves reading reviews and also swatching products. In fact this strategy works and I love most things in my stash.

The formula is very easy to blend . These shadows practically blend themselves. All the eyeshadows can be used as a base and layered with other eyeshadows. I did not experience any fall out. The colors are densely packed and pigmented that's why I need just a little bit on my brush to lay the color on my eye lid. There is no substantial fading throughout the day even though I have oily eyelids.

Viserart 01 Neutral Matte Eyeshadows are truly pigmented, not chalky at all. The palette has a mix of warm toned and cool toned shades. Top row has skin toned shades. The middle row has warm brown shades and the bottom row has cool toned grays, taupe and a matte black shades. No muddy mess when you combine the shades or use the shades in this palette as bases for your looks.

In other words, the phenomenal quality of the eyeshadows in the palette and neutral matte shades certainly makes this a great buy for me.

Pros

Not chalky and colors blend beautifully

Cons

Expensive, but this is quality product. And it is important to realize that you need just a little bit on your eyeshadow brush. In other words, this palette will last you a long time.
