I love the Josie Maran Argan Oil. I have used her Argan Oil for years and it is a staple in my skincare routine. So when I got a chance to try the Josie Maran Whipped Argan Pro-Retinol Body Butter, I was thrilled.

The Sephora website says that this is “A lusciously whipped body butter infused with gentle and effective pro-retinol for a smoother, firmer-looking, deep hydrated body.”

I love the bright pink packaging. Just makes me happy looking at it. I keep it by my bedside and use this every night. The body cream was protected by a silver foil, when I first opened it. And that silver foil was tough to take off. You can still see the last bits of it, still attached to the edges.

This cream can be used by people with normal, dry, combination, and oily skin. It helps with dryness, dullness, and uneven texture. Ingredients include Pink Algae, Quercetin and Pure Argan Oil 100%. Pink Algae is a pro-retinol that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Quercetin is a potent antioxidant that defends against environmental aggressors. Last but not the least Pure Argan Oil is a rich source of fatty acids, antioxidants, and vitamin E.

My Experience

Josie Maran makes extraordinary products and this is no different. Certainly, the delightful pink cream is a treat to look at. In addition the formula is lightweight but still extremely hydrating. Also it is very soothing and is not strongly scented. It leaves my skin soft and smooth. Additionally it gets absorbed quickly and does not feel greasy. Since I already use Retinol in my skin care products, it is nice to use it in a body care product too.

The Josie Maran Whipped Argan Pro-Retinol Body Butter leaves behind a silky feel. The whipped texture is literally like creamy yogurt. Moreover I love the hydration, nourishment it provides my skin and makes it soft and supple. For these reasons I love including this in my nighttime routine.
