Today I want to talk about one of my favorite blushes. MAC Gingerly Sheertone blush is a blush I love, but have not talked about on this blog. I can't say why. So I decided it was time I included it my magnificent must haves. You can find some of my favorite products under the tag magnificent must haves. I plan to keep adding more products to that tag.
MAC Cosmetics website says that this is “an ultra-fine pressed powder that delivers a natural-looking colour to cheeks in one swipe. This silky formula provides sheer buildable coverage and a natural finish. Applies evenly and adheres lightly to skin.”
Packaging Of MAC Gingerly Sheertone Blush
MAC blushes have a very simple packaging. The blush is cased in a round black plastic container. The lid is transparent and allows you to see the shade enclosed. The name of the shade is mentioned at the back of the blush compact.

Formula Of MAC Gingerly Sheertone Blush
This blush is in the sheertone formula. I have no clue why this is called sheertone, because this is not sheer at all. It looks and feels like a beautiful matte blush. The blush has a smooth texture and is finely milled.
My Experience
Gingerly is a warm peach shade with light brownish tones. Further it is like blush and bronzer all in one. I love shades like these. Somehow Gingerly manages to give me a sun kissed kind of look. Also it looks amazing with everything. Because it goes with everything, its an everyday kind of, no brainer color. Besides, it's no wonder I am on my second compact of Gingerly, that must count for something.

In my opinion, MAC Sheertone Gingerly blush is a pigmented peachy brown matte blush that would look amazing on a wide range skin tones. Moreover it stays put for 6-8 hours, after which it starts fading. I have combination skin, so depending on your skin type your mileage may vary. This blush gives me a natural flush of color. On the MAC Cosmetics website this is described as a capri bronze shade.
If you are looking for a versatile blush for a simple everyday looks, you must certainly check it out. Also it looks fabulous with bolder eye looks too.

Pros
- Blush as well as bronzer, so two products for the price of one
- Also goes with multiple looks
- Does not break me out
Cons
- None that I can think of
