Another random fun fact for you. The footprints on the moon will be there for 100 million years. And this is because there is no atmosphere on the moon. Talk about long lasting! So do you prefer long lasting matte formulas or cream formulas? Let's see how MAC Studio Fix Tech Cream-To-Powder Foundation performs.
According to the Nordstrom website “A lightweight, sweat- and humidity-resistant foundation that provides medium coverage and a natural matte finish.”

Packaging
The product is packaged in a silver compact, that has a mirror. The cream foundation is covered with foil, that you need to take off before using the foundation. That compartment can be lifted up and below is another compartment where you can store the sponge applicator.
Formula
This foundation has a lightweight, transformative texture. It also has light-diffusing properties that soften lines to create a fresh, flawless texture for all skin types. This formula also delivers immediate and long-term moisturization with 12-hour wear and won't cause acne. It is perspiration resistant, humidity resistant and crease resistant. Information taken from Macy's website.

Shades
MAC Studio Fix Tech Cream-To-Powder Foundation is available in 42 shades. I am using this in the shade NC30. Long story short, I picked it up in NC35 first. I can get away with it, but it does not match my skintone perfectly. Maybe in the summer NC35 will be a better match. I loved the formula so much I wanted a better match and picked up NC30
I am happy to report that NC30 is a better match for me right now. In the past I have been matched to NC35, NC37 and NC40 in MAC Cosmetics depending on the formula. Past few years it has mostly been NC35 or NC37.
My Experience
I think this foundation is amazing. It blends seamlessly into my skin and provides medium coverage. This is lightweight and did not cling to any dry patches on my skin. One thing to note here is that it applies better with a foundation brush than the sponge provided. It stays on my combination skin for 8 to 9 hours, but I also set this with a powder. I have not tried this without a finishing powder.
It is not a flat matte, it has some creaminess, or radiance to it. Most importantly, I think you might have to go a shade lighter in this formula. Because NC35 in this does not match NC35 in other formulas. Keep that in mind before making a purchase. I should have checked this before buying. I love that this gives me a soft focus look and my face does not get oily at the end of the day. It does not crease and still looks nice hours after application. Moreover the coverage it provides is fabulous, without feeling heavy.

Pros
- Blends beautifully
- Great coverage and does not break me out
- Paraben-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, fragrance-free, oil-free, silicone-free
Cons
- Maybe its just my skin, but I have to set it with a powder
- You have to keep the compact tightly closed to prevent the product from drying
