RMS Beauty Mini Lip2Cheek Quad Review

What do you think of multitasking products? Love them, hate them! I love the concept of using the same product for my lips and cheeks. Somehow products like these work on lips and cheeks for me but not on eyes. This RMS beauty mini lip2cheek quad is and lip and cheek product as the name suggests. Lets see if it works or no.

According to the Sephora website this is a “A travel-ready palette that features three creamy shades of lip2cheek and the fan-favorite champagne rosé luminizer. This is a versatile and easy-to-use palette for highlighted lips and cheeks. The three lip2cheek shades offer a double duty of moisturizing color, while the cream luminizer awakens skin with a delicate, blushed-pink dewiness. These shades can be worn alone, mixed together, or layered for lush lips, naturally blushed cheeks, and a complexion that glows.”

Packaging

The packaging is quite minimalistic. The white plastic container has 4 product shades. It also has a mirror. The back of the compact has the names of the shades.

Formula

It is also gluten-free and cruelty-free. RMS beauty mini lip2cheek has Jojoba Oil which contains antioxidants that mimic skin tone and texture to allow for easy absorption of nourishing skin benefits. It also has Cocoa Seed Butter that moisturizes, fights free radicals, and conditions both skin and hair. Lastly it has Coconut Oil which helps soften, protect, and soothe the skin.

Shades

This RMS mini palette has lip2cheeks in the shade lost angel (seductive coral pink with lush golden undertones), beloved (true red with just a hint of poppy) and spell (modern nude dusty rose). It also has a luminizer in champagne rosé (blushed pink with hints of champagne). Shade descriptions taken from the Sephora website.

My Experience

I photographed this quad, a few hours after I received it in the mail. So this was literally frozen outdoors and then thawed, so that's why there are water droplets on the blush. It still performs well. I love how compact this quad is. It fits in my palm, so its really small, and that's why the word mini in the product description. I like the colors. All 4 shades are easy and wearable and I love that they can be combined. The colors feel natural on the skin. Most of all I love the rose champagne luminizer and the beloved(red) lip2cheek shade. The luminizer is perfect on my medium skin tone. I love beloved(red) on my lips and cheek. Angela and Spell look lovely combined or worn alone. I wear this on top of my foundation, then powder my face, except for where I have applied this cream blush, because I like the dewy look it gives.

I have combination skin and these cream blushes stay on my skin for 4-5 hours, depending on whether I am wearing the natural shades or the pop of color shades. My makeup style for everyday leans towards natural, office friendly looks. And this is something I can achieve with this palette.
