Brand New Saie Lip Blur Soft-Matte Hydrating Lipstick Review

My most favorite makeup item to buy has to be the lipstick. A simple tube of lipstick is powerful enough to change your entire look. So when Saie came our with lipsticks I was excited and decided to purchase a few. I purchased four of the Saie Lip Blur Soft-Matte Hydrating Lipsticks.

According to the Sephora website this is “A comfortable, buildable matte lipstick for a soft-focus to full-coverage look, packed with nourishing ingredients to hydrate and smooth lips.”

These lipsticks come packaged in a black plastic/metal tube with the brand name written on the outside of tube in lilac. It feels secure and I have carried it with me to work. And I am happy to report that the cap did not come off during my travel.

According to Sephora “Lip Blur is formulated to achieve a softly blurred to full-coverage matte finish. Ingredients like hyaluronic acid, olive oil, jojoba esters, and berry fruit wax quickly nourish lips. It's six shades of buildable, comfortable, and easy-to-apply lipstick for an effortless blush lip look.”

The highlighted ingredients include Hyaluronic Acid which helps to attract water and retain moisture for more plump-looking, hydrated lips. This lipstick also includes Olive Oil that nourishes and moisturizes for soft, smooth lips. Additionally the formula has Berry Fruit Wax that provides a blurred, soft-focus effect to lips. Moreover this product is gluten-free, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging.

My Experience

Lipstick is my most favorite makeup product to buy. I really enjoy buying and wearing lip products. These lipsticks are really pigmented. All the colors are very pretty. These lipsticks are not particularly hydrating. I find these to be matte lipsticks.

The colors are very pigmented and buildable. For a blotted look I apply the lipstick and smudge it. These lipsticks are not hydrating as I mentioned before. But they also did not dry my lips. I like the slim tube packaging as well.

The colors look beautiful when freshly applied as well as while they fade. I enjoy wearing the Saie Lip Blur Soft-Matte Lipsticks. I would pick up more shades if Saie decide to add more colors to this collection.
