Valentine’s Day Look With Pink And Brown Shades

Valentines Day is just round the corner. So I created this fun Valentin's Day look with pink and brown shades from my stash. I went and shopped my stash. This allows me to enjoy the makeup I already have. I enjoy rediscovering products that I have not used for some time. I loved creating this Valentine's Day Look with pink and brown shades.

Eyes

Use your favorite shimmery brown eyeshadow on your inner lid and eyelid. Deepen the outer lid with a deeper brown/black shade. In my crease I used a pinkish brown shade, for a softer look. Add a highlight to the inner corner of your eyes and a matte brow bone highlight. I used NARS eyeshadow duo in Key Largo and my trusted MAC eyeshadow in Espresso.

Line your eyes with a deep brown eyeliner of your choice. I used a Edward Bess' eyeliner in Deep Brown for this look. The one I have is old, but works just fine. They have changed the packaging as well as the shade names now. I find Edward Bess is not easily available, good old Urban Decay has some beautiful eyeliners.

Two coats of mascara. Perfect! I used MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara in Black.

Face

I moisturize my face, then use face and eye primer. Then go on to my eye makeup, except for the mascara. After this, I apply foundation, concealer. I use a beauty blender to blend everything together. Foundation I used is Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Perfect Glow Flawless Oil-Free Foundation. Concealer is NARS Soft Matte Complete Concealer.

Use a pinkish blush on your cheeks. I used NARS Lovjoy which is a beautiful pinkish bronzish shade. Use a bronzer if you usually do. I sometimes skip it. But by all means go ahead. For highlighting the high points of my face, I went with Benefit Watt's Up highlighter.

After I am done, I set everything with a finishing powder. I used Hourglass Dim light, my favorite!

Eyebrows

Filling in my brows is the most important step for me. It frames my face. Even if I don't do any other makeup, I like to fill in the sparse spots in my brows. I always depend on Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer.

I then apply two coats of Mascara.

Lips

I decided to go with a soft pink color and picked Chanel Rouge Coco Mademoiselle for this look. All done!

Valentine's Look With Pink and Browns — Fun mani with Essie and Tenoverten colors.

Nails

My nails were so much fun to do. Just looking at them is making me smile. I used Tenoverten Mott a pinkish red, Essie Marshmallow, a sheer white and Essie Set in stones, a silver glitter polish. Check out my Instagram @blushnbasil for more pictures of this fun manicure.
