I was thrilled when I came to know Patrick Ta is releasing a new eyeshadow palette. The pictures on social media were absolutely breathtaking. So I went ahead and purchased the Patrick Ta Major Dimension II Rose Eyeshadow Palette from Sephora.
According to the Sephora website this “A daily wardrobe of rose-toned neutral shades that will become your daily go-to palette. A mix of warm, cool, and neutral matte, satin, and pearlescent shades with 2 cream bases that create the perfect, rich canvas for your shadows.”
Packaging Of The Patrick Ta Major Dimension II Rose Eyeshadow Palette
The packaging of this palette is a little different from the Major Dimension I palette. This palette has a matte border all around it, so you can differentiate between the two palettes. The shades are housed in a mirrored rose gold container that has a metallic look. It is very reflective. The palette has a nice weight to it and snaps shut. Also it has a nice sized mirror inside. Because of it’s metallic finish it is prone to finger prints. This usually does not bother me unless I am taking pictures.
Formula Of The Patrick Ta Major Dimension II Rose Eyeshadow Palette
According to Sephora “The shades in this palette can be worn alone or layered, blended, and contoured to create the most multi-dimensional looks that go from day to night. The cream bases allow you to really sculpt and intensify your eye looks. The shadows can be worn alone or layered over the bases for maximum depth and richness.”
The palette is free of Parabens, Phthalates, animal testing. And is also Vegan, Gluten-free and Cruelty-free.

I do not have the Major Dimensions I palette, so I cannot compare it to the first palette. But I loved this Major Dimension II Rose Eyeshadow Palette. So much so that I am now thinking I should get the first one. The mattes in this palette are creamy and blend well. And the shimmers are not gritty. They are so pretty. The creams are well…creamy. I love that this palette has warm, cool, and neutral matte, satin, and pearlescent shades with 2 cream bases. Is it the most unique color story? If you are a makeup collector or have been into makeup for a long time, you will probably have similar colors in your collection.
I do not have the original palette and did not want to miss out on this new release. As a neutral makeup lover I am very glad I purchased this palette. I could create multiple looks from simple day time looks to evening looks with this palette. Sometimes, I use the cream shades as a base and other times I use the eyeshadows by themselves. If you are looking for a palette with rose toned shades, this is a beautiful one to consider.
The Major Dimension Precision Gel Eyeliners in Copper Gold and Burgundy swatched beautifully. I found these eyeliners to be so creamy. Also once they set, they stayed put. I tried to wipe these off with a tissue and they would not budge. Even with makeup remover it took some elbow grease to take these off. I have not worn them on my waterline so I won’t be able to say how they actually perform on my waterline. But I know which eyeliners I want to pick up next.
