Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palette – Light Review

I purchased the Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palette in the shade Light last year. I love using it. But somehow I did not get around to reviewing it.

According to Sephora “A palette featuring both eye and cheek essentials in universal, neutral tones—with five ultra- pigmented eyeshadows, a cream blush, and a highlighter.”

Packaging Of The Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palette

The Light Palette comes in a very reflective rose gold palette that has a nice sized mirror. Inside the palette are five eyeshadows, one blush and one highlighter. The palette is lightweight but still feels luxurious. This palette has a magnetic closure.

Formula Of The Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palette

Sephora website states “Featuring a brand-new formula that uses Japanese technology to deliver an extreme glow, this palette is perfect for traveling and creating everyday looks on the go. Designed with luxurious, never-before-seen Natasha Denona exclusive packaging, it comes in two different tones with lighter or darker shades to complement all skin tones. These rich-pressed pigmented shadows and blush leave the skin with an optimal texture and comfortable all-day wear.”

The cream blush is the worst part of this palette for me. It is dry in texture that makes it difficult to work with. I like that there is a plastic cover that separates the cream blush from the powder eyeshadows. The highlighter is smooth and pigmented and a little bit goes a long way. The matte eyeshadows are very easy to use and blend beautifully. I experienced some fallout with the glitter shades but these shades are beautiful.

My Experience

I loved everything about the Natasha Denona Glam Face & Eye Palette with the exception of the cream blush. But even though the blush has a dry texture I like the color and the wear time. The Star Glow Highlighter is very pigmented and I like to sometimes use it as an inner corner highlight. I use a brush with a light touch because a little bit goes a long way with this highlighter. The Glitter eyeshadows have some large pieces of glitter and these shades are best applied with your fingers. They are beautiful though and help to take your look from a basic day time look to a glitzy glam evening look. The matte shades are smooth, blend easily and buildable.

The shades in this palette are definitely not unique, but the quality is amazing except for the dry texture of the cream blush. I can use the blush but I feel that it will dry out soon. This is a great palette to travel with. Basic shades to give you a day look and an evening look. I enjoy having this palette in my collection and I have got much use out of it, ever since I purchased it.
