Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint Latest Review Fall 2022

This year has been all about minimalistic makeup. I like that makeup companies have started offering makeup with more attention to skincare. I already love a few Ilia Makeup items I have in my collection. That's why I decided to try the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint. A tint with SPF would be perfect for summer, don't you think?

Sephora website says this is “An award-winning tinted serum with light, dewy coverage, mineral SPF, and active levels of skincare ingredients. This clean skin tint combines makeup, skincare, and SPF into one step. With every wear, skincare actives visibly hydrate, smooth, and refine bare skin. Non-nano zinc oxide shields skin from free radicals, blue light, and pollution. Choose from 30 shades that blend in seamlessly with a dewy finish.”

Packaging Of The Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation

The foundation bottle has a dropper to dispense the product. The in between shades have the word between written on the dropper and the dropper is white. And the other shades have a colored dropper that is an indication of the shade within. I have heard people complaining that the dropper gets messy. I have my bottle in an upright position and haven't travelled with it yet. So my bottle is in perfect condition.

The highlighted ingredients include Plant-Based Squalane that hydrates and tightens the look of skin without clogging pores. Niacinamide that visibly smooths skin texture and refines uneven tone. Hyaluronic Acid that makes skin look plumper and replenishes moisture levels. Also this product is vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging.

This tint comes in 30 shades. I like that they have in between shades as well.

My Experience

I was curious to try this serum skin tint. This shade I picked is ST10 Porto. It has a liquidy texture and can be applied with your fingers or a beauty sponge and provides sheer coverage. It gives me a dewy finish and I love how radiant my skin looks. I'm not sure how it would work on someone with oily skin. Also if you are not a fan of the dewy look, the Ilia super serum skin tint might not be for you.

Moreover I love that this has skincare ingredients and SPF included in it. These days I am not wearing a ton of makeup and this gives the radiant glow I want. I like applying it with my fingers. It is such a lightweight, sheer finish tint, perfect for everyday.
