Do you wear lip treatments to bed? Do you prefer fancy lip masks or plain old Chapstick? I love exfoliating my lips and wearing a thick coat of lip balm before bed. So I was thrilled when I got to try the Fresh Sugar Recovery Lip Mask Advanced Therapy.

Its formula is infused with berry wax, shea butter and hyaluronic acid, which blanket lips in intense nourishment.”

The packaging is very simple. This advanced recovery mask comes packaged in a plastic tub. They also provide a mini spatula for picking up the product. I use the spatula to pick up a little bit of product. But sometimes I just pick up product with my clean fingers.

I think this is a firmer lip balm which is not goopy at all. It melts when it comes in contact with my fingers. This advanced lip treatment has Sugar which is a natural humectant known to prevent moisture loss. It also has Berry Wax which conditions and protects the lip moisture barrier. Last but not the least it has Hyaluronic Filling Spheres that attract and hold moisture.

My Experience

Fresh Beauty is one of my favorite lip balm brands. They make so many beautiful lip balms and this Fresh Sugar Recovery Lip Mask Advanced Therapy does not disappoint. As I mentioned before this is firmer than a lot of other lip balms I have tried. So it melts when my fingers touch it, or its melts on the lips. So essentially it is a thick solid that melts when applied. A little goes a long way. I apply thin layers and depending on the condition of my lips I can always add more layers.

This advanced therapy lip mask is very nourishing. It has a slight lemony smell, which is not very strong. I wake up with hydrated lips in the morning. This is a great nightly lip mask. It is nourishing, not sticky and has a rich texture. Also the packing has a clean aesthetic which is lovely. The mini spatula is a nice touch and very helpful if you don't want to dip your hands into the product.
