A Blue Whale’s heartbeat can be detected from 2 MILES AWAY. Isn't that astonishing. Magnificent creatures. This is no way related to Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick, but I love random, fun facts. There is so much to see, so much to learn. It always amazes me how we learn something new everyday.
Coming back to our topic, the Sephora website says the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick is a foundation formulated with a unique transparent base. And it is evens out and corrects your complexion.
The product come in a black plastic tube. You have to twist it up like a lipstick to use the foundation stick. I find the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick very convenient for touch ups. Also one more plus point is that it is so portable.
This has a cream formula that sets to a matte finish. However, it is not a flat matte.
This does not contain SLS and SLES, paraben and phthalates. It is also gluten free. The formula has olive extracts and shea butter for moisturizing dry skin. Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick is water, sweat and humidity resistant according to Sephora website.
A few years back some of my eyeshadows shattered while travelling. Must have happened on the air plane, I assume. I opened them after I reached home and was dejected. This incident sent me on a quest to find cream products for my entire face. Only powder product I wanted to carry was a setting powder. This is how I found the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick.
It has a buildable coverage that can go from very light to full, depending on how much you apply. Using a brush will give you sheer coverage. Using directly from the tube gives you more coverage. I use it when ever I want a quick natural makeup look. Almost always I set this foundation with whatever setting powder I am using at that time.
I use this as a concealer too, for my under eye area. It looks natural, like skin. I did not find this heavy or cakey. I use the shade N-052 Natural which is a good match to the older shade Natural 4. For reference I am NC37-40 in MAC and 40 Beige in Chanel.
Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick is really portable. Great for travelling.
