Today I found out that jiffy is a proper unit of time. It is actually 1/100 th of a second. I'll get to the Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer review in a jiffy. See what I did there? Isn't it amazing how you may be using a word all your life and suddenly learn something new about it.
Sephora says that the Benefit Hoola Bronzer is “An award-winning Hoola Matte Bronzing powder—now available in four shades for a sunkissed glow all year round.”
Packaging
The product is packaged in a cardboard container. It comes with a mirror and also a small brush. I am not very fond of the brush that is included. Therefore I use another contouring brush while using this bronzer.
Formula
The bronzer has a buttery formula that glides effortlessly onto my skin. In addition to this, the formula is matte. So I can add a highlighter of my choice later on.

My Experience
In the past, I was intimidated by bronzers . I mistakenly believed that I did not need it, since I am medium skin toned. And they always looked muddy, or orangish or scary in the pan. But I was hooked after trying bronzer a few years back. I remember, I tried Burberry Earthy blush as a bronzer and loved it. Since it was sheer but buildable, I got over my fears and that's how I tried Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer.
Benefit Hoola Original natural bronze is perfect on my NC37, Chanel 40 Beige complexion. Firstly, it is not too warm, not too cool, just perfect. Secondly, the formula is soft, subtle and easily buildable. You decide if you want a more defined or just a soft contour. You can achieve both. In fact it comes in different shades and multiple sizes, so I would suggest you try it before buying.
Benefit Hoola Matte blush is not muddy on me, nor is it an unpleasant shade of orange. I even use it on my eyes to deepen my crease.

Pros
- Smooth buttery formula that is buildable.
- Comes with a mirror
- Multiple shades and sizes offered
Cons
- The brush included is a nice touch, however I find it easier to use another brush with this bronzer
Where to buy
The Benefit Hoola Bronzer comes in mini, standard and value sizes. The mini size costs $17, standard size costs $30 and the value size costs $44. However, not all the shades are offered in all sizes. They can be purchased at Sephora, Nordstrom , Macy's and Ulta.
