New Morphe 9P Petal Passion Artistry Palette Review

I went into Ulta for entirely something else and you guessed it, walked out with something entirely unplanned. I walked out excitedly with the New Morphe 9P Petal Passion Artistry Palette. Such a pretty color story!

The Ulta website says this floral palette has 9 shade bouquet of modern rose hues and pops of champagne shimmer.

Packaging Of The Morphe 9P Petal Passion Artistry Palette

The palette is made up of cardboard and houses 9 shades divided into 3 rows and 3 columns. It also has a mirror and a magnetic closure.

Formula Of The Morphe 9P Petal Passion Artistry Palette

The palette includes shimmer and matte shades. I found the formula to be more creamier than the larger palette when I swatched them both at Ulta. The shadows swatches beautifully. The 2 shimmer shades in the first row almost have a cream-to-powder feel. The mattes are smooth and pigmented.

My Experience

When I walked into Ulta I had no idea I would be walking out with this Morphe 9P Petal Passion Artistry Palette. The beautiful coral, pink packaging caught my eye, at first. Then the center soft peach shimmer shade was calling out to me. I immediately started swatching these and loved the color story. There is another 18 pan Va-Va Bloom Eyeshadow palette that Morphe released. I swatched some of the shades from that palette as well but I found the smaller palette swatched better. So I picked the 9 pan instead of the 18 pan palette. However I felt the need to add a deeper brown shade to finish my look. So I wish they would have included that. But that's just me.

The swatches speak for themselves. The two shimmers in the first row have a cream-to-powder formula and are beautiful as one and done shades in my opinion. The center peach coral shimmer shade is absolutely beautiful on the eyes. The rosy browns in the last row are smooth, bendable and buildable just like the other shades in this palette. In fact the pictures don't do the palette any justice. I had some points and used those toward this purchase and literally got the new Morphe 9P Petal Passion Artistry Palette for a dollar and some change.

I did experience some fallout but for the price I did not mind the extra clean up.
