New Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Palette Swatches & Review

I do not have a huge Charlotte Tilbury makeup collection. That's why I get super excited when Charlotte Tilbury releases a new makeup product. I immediately got the New Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Palette when it came out. My reasoning was that I did not have the original Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette. So my purchase was justified. Then I swatched it and the rest is history.

The Sephora website says this is “A four-step eyeshadow quad with buildable, non-creasing formulas and pigmented shades for day to night.”

Packaging Of The Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Dreams Eyeshadow Palette

This palette has the regular Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadow packaging. The plastic case once opened has four eyeshadows and a mirror inside. Additionally the Sephora website says “This palette contains four harmonious eye colors: Prime, Enhance, Smoke, and Super Pop. Create a smooth base for your eye look using the Prime shade; build up definition with Enhance; add drama with the Smoke shade; and finish your dazzling look with the shimmer Super Pop shade. The step-by-step application is artistry made easy.”

These eyeshadows are cruelty-free. They contains less than one percent synthetic fragrance.

My Experience

I have a lot of eyeshadows and did not need another eyeshadow palette. But I'm a blogger plus I do not have an extensive Charlotte Tilbury collection. Therefore when I swatched this palette at the store and it wowed me, I purchased it. The mattes are very soft and creamy. They blend well and the darkest matte brown adds depth to whatever look I create. The shimmers are beautiful. I did experienced some fall out with the shimmer shades, especially the Super Pop shade. It's an added step to clean up. Sometimes it bothers me other times it doesn't.

Also I do not have the other Pillow Talk palette that was released earlier. So I cannot compare the two. But looking at online swatches, I think this palette shows up better on medium skin tones. Adding the shimmer shades as toppers I can take my look from day to night and thick this is a nice little palette to have. Again, if you already have many eyeshadows like me, you will be able to find similar shades in your collection.
